Hi there, Glenis here.
Who am I? Nobody important, nobody rich – nobody really. Since it’s impolite for you to ask my age I’ve give you a clue – I’m 50 ish. I live in New Zealand with my husband and daughter. We don’t have a fancy lifestyle and we’re ok with that because we’re past the party stage (except for the teenage daughter – she’s definitely at ‘that’ stage). We’re past the keeping up with the Joneses stage but we do enjoy a meal out and a nice glass of wine from time to time. If I had a flash fast car I’d still drive too slowly – ask my daughter.
Some time ago I decided that it would be really nice to be able to quit my day job and enjoy my life and my hobbies without having to get up and be anywhere at an particular time, sound familiar? How to make it happen? More particularity how to do it on a budget? I seem to spend half of my life in front of the computer and there seem to be plenty of people out there making any thing from a small living to a HUGE amount of money – so why not me? That’s the $64,000 question – actually it’s the $64,000 per annum question.
Wish me luck – and good luck to you too!
